Welcome to the Gedling School Sport Partnership Website

The Gedling SSP works to enhance the take up of sporting opportunities by 5 to 19 year olds who attend school within the borough. To achieve this we work with colleagues from the community to support schools in providing more opportunities for more young people in the following 4 main areas: Participation in high quality P.E. - Participation in sport & recreational activity beyond the school day, at school & in the community - Participation in appropriate competition - Participation in leadership & volunteering

Our aim is to get more young people active & having FUN!!!!!

As part of the build up to the 2012 Olympic games in London the Gedling SSP has introduced a primary outdoor athletics event using the Quadkids format.
